The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect in an assault this morning in the area of County Rd. 9 and Meeker-Stearns Street, east of Eden Valley.
The adult male victim was out for a bike ride when he was approached by another male and assaulted. The victim did not know the other male and deputies have been unable to identify him. The suspect is described as a darker skinned male, described by the victim as possibly Hispanic, 5’10 inches tall with a medium build. He had short, dark and curly hair.
He was also wearing a Northern Line Railway hat and a T-shirt with the logo “Una Mas” on it. The shirt and hat came off in the scuffle and photos are below. He left the scene in a noisy, green Subaru Outback. He should have visible scratches on his face. He may be from the area as he made reference to a farm that he worked at or lived on.
