ST CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists on eastbound Highway 10 between St. Cloud and Clear Lake will encounter work crews and possible slow traffic when segments of the road are reduced to a single lane during non-rush hours beginning Monday, May 11.
The lane closures will occur on eastbound Highway 10 between 15th Avenue SE in St. Cloud and Highway 24 in Clear Lake through July 1.
The closures are needed while crews resurface the road, extend turn lanes and make other improvements to the road.
When complete, the project will extend the life of the roadway, result in a smoother ride and improve safety and drainage along 9 miles of Highway 10.
The work is not part of the Highway 10 resurfacing and reconstruction project underway in St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids. Highway 10 between E St. Germain Street and County Road 33 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction, with ramps closing and opening as needed, as part of that project.
