ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists may encounter slow or stopped traffic on Highway 10 east of County Road 4/Watab Road near Sartell as the highway is reduced to a single lane in each direction, and the speed limit is reduced, at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Westbound Highway 10 will remain a single lane through mid-October. All lanes of eastbound Highway 10 will open by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, before the road is again reduced to a single lane after noon on Wednesday, Sept. 17 through mid-October.
The closures are needed while crews resurface a one-mile segment of eastbound Highway 10 just east of County Road 4/Watab Road.
The work and closures are part of the Highway 15/Highway 10 reconstruction project in Sartell and Sauk Rapids. When complete in 2015, the project will reconstruct all lanes of Highway 15 between Benton Drive and Highway 10, and resurface or reconstruct Highway 10 between East St. Germain Street and Watab Road. The project will help ensure MnDOT’s transportation system continues to serve the state for many years.
