ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 15 between Benton Drive and Highway 10 in Sauk Rapids should plan for delays as lane closures begin Monday, July 28.
The initial closures will occur intermittently on both directions of Highway 15 during non-rush hours through Friday, Aug. 1.
Beginning Friday, Aug. 1, Highway 15 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction with head-to-head traffic switched to the southbound lanes while the existing northbound lanes are closed and reconstructed. More information on those traffic changes will be issued as details become available.
The closures are part of the Highway 15/Highway 10 resurfacing and reconstruction project. The project will reconstruct all lanes of Highway 15 between Benton Drive and Highway 10, and resurface or reconstruct Highway 10 between East St. Germain Street and Watab Road. This project helps ensure MnDOT’s transportation system will continue to serve the state for many years.
