ST CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists who travel both directions of Interstate 94 between Monticello and Clearwater may encounter work crews, lane closures and slow or stopped while the road is intermittently reduced to a single lane during non-rush hours beginning Monday, Oct. 16.
The intermittent lane closures will occur during non-rush hours, and will be complete by November 2.
The closures are needed while crews grind rough pavement to improve the ride along 14 miles of the heavily traveled interstate.
The work and closures will be complete by November 2.
Motorists planning to travel I-94 between Monticello and Clearwater should be prepared to slow down and stop if necessary, and move over to give crews room to work while navigating the daily work zones.
