James Dean Hederman

James Dean Hederman, age 47, formerly of Columbia Heights, MN passed away Sept. 23, 2018 at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, MN.
James was preceded in death by cousin Lisa Marie Hennen and grandfather, Melvin O. Asmus of Grey Eagle.
He is survived by his parents, Dan & Judy (Asmus) Hederman, sister Kelly Herold (Chris), nieces, Breanna (Kevin) Madison & Bethany, grandmother Elaine Asmus, aunt Karen & Rich Hennen & family. Special friend Brenda Dolittle & family. Many friends & relatives.
Jim worked at the US Post Office in Blaine, MN. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He planted 130 broccoli plants and froze broccoli. He pickled beets and made homemade sauerkraut. He planted a variety of peppers and dried them for his ‘Special Seasoning’ which was enjoyed by many as far away as Key Largo, Florida.
A memorial service was held on Oct. 1, 2018 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights.
