James E. Raab

Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of James Raab, age 55 of Avon, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Avon, MN. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. James died on February 15, 2017.
Jim Raab was born December 12, 1961 in St. Cloud to Leo G. and Joan (Ostendorf) Raab. He grew up and lived all of his life in the Avon area. He was most recently employed as an Assembler at Columbia Gear in Avon. He was a member of St. Benedict’s Church and the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association.
Jim is remembered by his sisters and brothers, Agnes (Henry) Fuechtmann, Sauk Centre; Marcy (George) Reisdorf, Sartell; Karen (Ron) Kobylinski, Upsala; David Raab, Avon; Paul (Cheryl) Raab, Avon; Leo S. (Shirley) Raab, Holdingford; Robert (Karrie) Raab, St. Joseph; Joe (Joanie) Raab, Avon and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Barbara and his brother, John.
