Jeanette C. Riesner

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon for Jeanette C. Riesner, age 77 of Willmar who passed January 27, 2017. Fr. Gregory Miller will officiate and burial will be at St. Columbkille Parish Cemetery, St. Wendel. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Jeanette was born in Avon Township to George and Helen (Ehresman) Terwey. She married Albert Riesner on November 29, 1958 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon, MN. She was employed as a bank teller, a realtor, and a sales clerk at Herberger’s throughout her career. She was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and adventures with her K-9 companion, Missy.
Survivors include her son Jeff Riesner of Litchfield Park, AZ; daughter Nancy (Michael) Hebrink of Willmar; grandson Jeremy Teeuwen of Spicer; great-granddaughters Kiearah, Kaydence and Austyn; brother Cyril Terwey of Omaha, NE; sisters Irene Flint of Cold Spring and Carol Ann (James) Schwalbe of Coon Rapids.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Riesner and sister Bernice Weigt.
