Joyce K. Wolf, age 65 of Albany, died peacefully on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 23 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany with Rev. Ray Monsour officiating. A private entombment will take place at a later date in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Seven Dolors Gathering Area in Albany.
Joyce Katherine Duclos was born December 1, 1946 in Freeport, Minnesota to William and Regina (Wenning) Duclos. She graduated from St. Benedict’s High School in St. Joseph. On May 13, 1967 she married Roger “Butch” Wolf at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport. Joyce worked as a Library Aid for the Albany Area Schools. She was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany and the Christian Mothers. Joyce enjoyed flower gardening, serving as a Eucharistic Minister at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Roger “Butch” Wolf of Albany; daughters, Gina (Dennis) Shafer of Sauk Rapids, Peggy (Michael) Brantner of Hastings, and Molly (Bryan) Smith of Big Lake; grandchildren, Maxwell, Guyeon and Marina Falcon, Alison and Charlie Brantner, and Weston, Avery, and Piper Smith; sisters, Shirley (Joseph) Miller of St. Joseph, Darlene (Thomas) Glatzmaier of Sartell, and Katie (Gary) Rieland of Plymouth.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, William and Regina Duclos.
Serving as casket bearers will be Jeanne Bonfig, Cheri Doom, Bev Bauer, Connie Havard, Sharon Tschida, and Geri Dirkes. Cross bearer will be Alison Brantner and scripture bearer will be Guyeon Falcon.
