Kathryn Gresser

Kathryn Gresser, 76, of Long Prairie, passed away on August 16, 2016. Funeral services for Kathryn will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie with Fr. Omar Guanchez officiating. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Long Prairie.
Kathy was born December 30, 1939, in Hartford Township, Todd County, to Samuel & Dolores (Host) Roman. On July 1, 1961, Kathy married Harland Gresser at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Browerville. Kathy worked for Todd County as the Auditor-Treasurer for 43 years until her retirement. After her retirement, she worked part-time for Hillig’s in Long Prairie. Kathy enjoyed watching birds, playing cards, shopping, going to the casino and wintering in the South with Hal. They made many good friends on their adventures. She loved life and her family.
Kathy is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Long Prairie and the Ladies Auxiliary.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; husband Harland, sisters: Ruth Ensign and Noreen Sandy and brother-in-law George Sandy Jr.
Kathy is survived by her siblings: Ron (Gerri) Roman of Foley, Jeanice (Clarence) Adelman of Sauk Rapids and Mary Jo (George) Santer of Browerville; brother-in-law Jim Ensign of Andover and many nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly.
