Kenneth J. “Kenny” Hoeschen

Kenneth J. “Kenny” Hoeschen, age 47 of New Munich, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich with Rev. Rev. Roger Klassen, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Freeport.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be held at 5 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Kenneth John Hoeschen was born August 1, 1967 in Melrose, Minnesota to Robert and Donna (Winter) Hoeschen. He graduated from Melrose High School in 1986 and started building houses for multiple construction companies throughout the area. Kenny also worked at the Melrose Fertilizer plant and his last venture was driving truck for Sonny Peterson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Kenny liked telling jokes and was the type of guy who would give you the shirt off of his back.
Survivors include his father, Robert “Bob” Hoeschen of Freeport; brothers and sisters, Roxane (Dean) Bienusa of Sauk Centre, Debra Hoeschen of Brainerd, Keith Hoeschen of New Munich, and Jason Hoeschen of Albany; and many loving relatives and friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Hoeschen on June 6, 2012; and sister, Sandra Hoeschen on November 9, 2003.
Serving as casket bearers will be Roger Gysberg, Mike Stahlboerger, Bob Zierden, Ron Dingmann, Tom Roelike, Mark Wolbeck, John Wolbeck, and David Wolbeck. Cross bearer will be Amy Dingmann and scripture bearer will be Derek Bienusa. Honorary bearers will be Sonny Peterson and the Ostrich Association.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Melrose.
