Services celebrating the life of Larry R. Kostreba, age 51 of Holdingford, was held Monday, March 5, 2012 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. Burial followed in the parish cemetery. Larry died Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at his home with Maxine and his family at his side.
Larry was born August 18, 1960 in St. Cloud to Raymond and Catherine (Cushing) Kostreba. He graduated from high school and the St. Cloud Vocational School. He has lived in the Holdingford area all of his life. He owned “A Welding and Machine” in Holdingford for over 10 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole and the Machinist Union.
Larry is survived by his son, Ray (Brandy) Kostreba, Hutchinson, his parents, Ray and Cathy Kostreba, Holdingford, his significant other, Maxine Henderickson, Holdingford, and his brothers and sisters, Deborah (Wes) Bishof, Burtrom, JoAnn (Dean) Binsfeld, Holdingford; Laurie Kostreba, Waite Park; David (Debbie) Kostreba, Holdingford; Jenny (Jamie) Skroch, St. Joseph and Susan (Jerry) Biniek, Avon.
Larry is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Kostreba, Francis and Loretta Cushing and nephew, Michael Bischoff.
