Crews will close and reconstruct the north intersection access to/from Lincoln Avenue SE at Highway 23, St. Cloud, on Monday, July 24, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The closure will be set in place for four to five days, as follows:
Lincoln Avenue SE will close north of Highway 23 (approximately 75 feet). Motorists to use alternate routes east or west of the Mississippi River bridge to access Lincoln Avenue SE.
Highway 23 will remain open to one lane each direction; and Lincoln Avenue SE will be open south of the intersection. MnDOT will adjust and monitor the temporary signal at the intersection.
The schedule is weather permitting.

When complete in November 2024, the interchange project will invest in infrastructure to last 60-plus years, provide a smoother road surface, and improve motorist and pedestrian safety and access throughout.
