Marie Terres

Marie Terres, age 88, of Rogers, MN, formerly of Little Falls and Albany, MN, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, at her home at Wellstead of Rogers in Rogers, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany, MN, with Fr. Cletus Connors, OSB officiating. Entombment was in the parish cemetery.
Marie Catherine Jonas was born on December 24, 1925 in St. Martin, Minnesota the daughter of Joseph G. and Olivia M. (Geris) Jonas. She attended school through the seventh grade. On October 27, 1948, Marie was united in marriage to Alcuin Terres at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in St. Martin, MN. The couple lived in St. Martin and Albany, MN. Marie was a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother. She was a meticulous person and liked everything to be very orderly. She always maintained a neat home. Outside of her responsibilities as a wife and mother, Marie enjoyed bowling, gardening and the Minnesota Twins. She was a member of the St. Martin’s Catholic Women Society and attended Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Daniel (Cindy) Terres of Rogers, MN, and Timothy Terres of Sauk Rapids, MN; daughter, Diane (Steve) Fedor of Aitkin, MN; brothers, Clarence Jonas of Waite Park, MN, Leander (Laura) Jonas of California and LeRoy (Barb) Jonas of St. Cloud, MN; sister, Marge (Allen “Ozzie”) Yozamp of Blaine, MN, and seven grandchildren.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Olivia Jonas; husband, Alcuin Terres; son, Thomas Terres; brothers, Leo and Ronald and sisters, Dorothy Morrissette and Bernadine Carlson.
