Mary Ann Maki, 82, was born in Norwood, Minnesota on December 29, 1929 to Carl and Anna Weisbrich. She passed away on October 14, 2012 in Victorville. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mary Ann grew up on the family farm near Pine Lake in Upsala, Minnesota. She married her husband George in 1955 and became a proud military wife. Mary Ann and George were stationed with the Air Force throughout the United States and Europe.
She was a 44 year resident of Victorville, California who loved traveling, baseball, bowling and bingo. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, Hesperia Chapter, and the Elks Lodge 1877.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Maki and Joanne Rand of Victorville, California; son Steve Maki of Topeka, Kansas; grandsons Stephen Rand and Michael Maki and granddaughter Jennifer Rand. She is also survived by sister Catherine Weisbrich of Mountain View, California; brothers John Weisbrich of Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard Weisbrich (Marti) of McDonald, Tennessee and Robert Weisbrich of Blythe, California.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George; her parents Anna and Carl; sister Irene Lee; brothers Anthony Weisbrich and Charles Weisbrich.
A celebration of life was held in Mary Ann’s honor with loving family and friends in attendance.
