Area political candidates will answer prepared questions and discuss election issues during a Meet the Candidates Night at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 at the Melrose City Center.
Candidates participating are Joe Finken, candidate for Melrose mayor; Dick Christenson and Josh Thieschafer, candidates for Melrose City Council; and An Beard, Becky Feldewerd, Kathie Dziengel, Mark Heidgerken, Craig Sawyer, Aaron Schmitz and Troy Tomford, candidates for District 740 School Board.
The event is free and open to the public and is being sponsored by the Melrose Area Women of Today to inform area voters before the Nov. 4 general election.
