The water from the Sauk River is extremely high after our weekend rain. Some locations of the river west of Melrose look like 100+ acre lake instead of a river.
Please remind youngsters to stay off the rocks by the fast moving water. Just prior to filming this video, three young ladies were on the rocks inches from the edge of the water and one slipped… luckily falling away from the rushing water.
