Michael Thomas “Curly” Smith passed away Nov. 10, 2025, from natural causes at his home in Sauk Centre.
He was born March 18, 1958, to Jerome P. and Marie M. Smith.
Mike is survived by son Jeremy; siblings Marge Budde, Joyce (Ron) Klein, Nick (Shirley), Jane (Vern) Schreifels and Becky (Chuck) Arnold; sister-in-law Mary Smith and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Mary Kay Knoblach and her husband, Rich; brothers Jerome “Pete” and his wife, Gloria, and Robert “Smitty” and brother-in-law Ralph Budde.
Per Mike’s wishes, there will be no services. A private family burial will be at a later date.
