On September 9th Stearns County Deputies were patrolling in the area where Schneider had last been seen. A deputy found Schneider along Benton County Road 78 near Rice, in the ditch. Schneider admitted she laid in the ditch when cars approached to try to avoid being found. She was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for an evaluation.
