Morrison County News Release July 31, 2017

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen reports that on 7-30-2017 at approximately 7:06 pm, their office received a 911 call regarding an ATV accident off of Haven Road, south of 203rd Street, in Belle Prairie Township, MN.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 30 year old Justin Bateman of Little Falls, MN was traveling on an ATV northbound along Haven Road, when he hit a driveway approach and was ejected off a 2000 Honda EX ATV. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Bateman was not wearing a helmet. Life saving efforts were performed but were unsuccessful. Bateman was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Little Falls Police Department, Gold Cross Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care.
