The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 10-07-2017 at approximately 10:07 pm, their office received a report of an ATV accident with injuries on 230th Ave, approximately ½ mile north of Nature Rd in Buckman Township, east of Royalton.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 28 year old Kylie Pickar of Royalton, MN was driving a side-by-side ATV with passenger 26 year old Ellissia Manea of Royalton, MN. The ATV was traveling north on 230th Ave. The driver of the ATV swerved to miss a pedestrian that ran onto the roadway. Pickar lost control of the ATV while overcorrecting, went into the ditch on the east side of the road and rolled the ATV. Pickar was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital and Manea was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital both by Gold Cross Ambulance. It is unknown the extent of injuries of both parties.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the MN State Patrol, MLMB First Response Team and Gold Cross Ambulance.
