The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek answers in the homicide of Terrence (Terry) Brisk who was murdered while hunting on his parent’s property on November 7, 2016. The Sheriff’s Office, along with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) work collaboratively to find the person/persons responsible for Terry’s murder and bring them to justice.
The Sheriff’s Office has previously shared with the public that Terry was shot and killed with his own rifle. Based on evidence at the scene, it was determined that the suspect was in close proximity to Terry and it is believed that Terry and the suspect would have interacted prior to the homicide taking place. Our office, along with the BCA, are able to use new and advanced technology to perform more extensive testing on evidence that was previously collected. This case will not become cold. We will continue to use all of our resources until this case is solved.
It is crucial for anyone who may have information on this case to report it by calling our agency or Crime Stoppers. Please be mindful of anyone you think may be connected to the case that has had a drastic change in behavior since the murder. We continue to urge the public to call in all tips, no matter what the information may be.
There is a $30,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Terry Brisk’s murder.
