The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 3-14-2026 at approximately 12:06 am., a Morrison County deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 10 and 83rd Street north of Royalton, MN.
The deputy observed a moving violation, made the traffic stop and identified the driver of the vehicle as 31-year-old Augustine Wodrich of Minneapolis, MN and the passenger as 48-year-old Thomas Sayers of Red Lake, MN.
During the stop, the deputy observed indicators consistent with possible drug activity. A K-9 Team was deployed, and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery and seizure of approximately 58 grams of suspected Methamphetamine.
Sayers was arrested on an outstanding felony drug warrant out of Beltrami County and is currently being held in the Morrison County Jail. He is also facing pending charges for 1st-degree possession of a controlled substance. Wodrich was released at the scene.
