The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office continues to ask for the public’s assistance in solving the 8-year homicide case involving Terrence (Terry) Brisk who was murdered while hunting on his parent’s property on November 7, 2016. The Sheriff’s Office continues to work diligently with local, state, and federal agencies to solve this case.
Terry Brisk was an avid outdoorsman, who was well respected. He was fatally shot on his parents’ property with his own rifle while deer hunting. Based on evidence at the scene, it was determined that the suspect was in close proximity to Terry and it is believed that Terry and the suspect would have interacted prior to the homicide taking place. Despite extensive investigation efforts, the case remains unsolved. Sheriff Shawn Larsen advises that anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact our office, or Crime Stoppers. Every piece of information can be crucial, no matter how minor it may seem. We continue our commitment to bring closure to Terry’s family and holding the person responsible accountable for his death.
There is still a $30,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Terry Brisk’s murder.
