Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen reports that charges are pending against 26 year old, Jermain Mallin from St Cloud, MN, for his involvement in a residential burglary on Hwy 27, east of Little Falls, in Morrison County.
On 10-24-2016 at approximately 4:43pm, a homeowner called the sheriff’s office and reported their residence was just burglarized. The suspect had entered the residence when no one was home, went through the kitchen cupboards and refrigerator, stealing some food and money.
While the homeowner was on their way home they met a male walking on Hawthorne Road north of Hwy 27. Morrison County Deputies were able to locate the male subject, who matched the description of an earlier suspicious person complaint near 160th Ave in Little Falls Township. The male subject was identified as 26 year old, Jermain Mallin.
With the property located on Mallin, deputies were able to connect him to the residential burglary on Hwy 27. Mallin was placed under arrest for burglary and is being held in Morrison County Jail pending formal charges.
