Morrison County Sheriff’s Office – September 12, 2018

The Morrison County Sheriff ‘s Office reports that on 9-11-2018 at approximately 12:17 pm, their office received a report of a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries at the intersection of 93rd Street and 170th Avenue, approximately 4 miles north of Royalton in Bellevue Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 64-year-old Shirley Matros of Royalton, MN was traveling north on 170th Avenue and 51-year-old Jeffrey Fisk of Royalton, MN was traveling west on 93rd Street. Matros failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck by Fisk’s vehicle in the intersection. Matros was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance with unknown injuries. Fisk was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by private vehicle. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, Royalton Police Department, Royalton Fire & Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance.
