Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen reports that on 9-15-2021 deputies executed a search warrant at a residence off Highway 10, approximately five miles south of Motley, MN, in Scandia Valley Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies located two enclosed trailers full of personal property that were stolen in a burglary reported back in November of 2020. The value of the trailers and personal property inside was estimated to be over $30,000. 40-year-old Derek Holmberg of Motley was questioned and admitted his involvement in this burglary. Holmberg was placed under arrest and is currently awaiting formal charges in this matter.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Motley Police Department.
