ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists in St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids will encounter delays and a detour while northbound Highway 15 just north of 18th Street N in Sauk Rapids is closed beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. All lanes of northbound Highway 15 are expected to open by 11 a.m.
A detour will direct motorists east along 18th Street North, to Fourth Avenue N, to westbound County Road 29/35th Street NE, to northbound Highway 15.
The closure is needed while the Minnesota State Patrol reconstructs a crash that occurred near the Highway 15/18th Street N intersection.
Delays are expected, and motorists should plan alternate routes and additional time for travel until the road can be opened.
