Radegundis “Redi” M. Clear

Radegundis “Redi” M. Clear, age 91 of Grey Eagle, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 due to lung cancer. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Redi M. Clear was born August. 13, 1923 in Freeport, MN to Henry and Katharina (Euteneuer) Seuk. During the depression they moved to Holdingford where she graduated from Holdingford High School. She continued on and earned her RN degree. She started her first job at Moose Lake in nursing care, then went to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls in 1945. In November 1947 she married George Clear and they moved to St. Paul where she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital. In 1974 they divorced. In 1988 she retired and in 1999 she moved to the Village View Apartments in Grey Eagle.
Redi was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grey Eagle and she enjoyed embroidery, knitting, canning and gardening.
Survivors include her three children: Pamela (Robert) Morse of Altoona,WI, Duane (Patricia) Clear of Elk River, and Bruce (Sandra) Clear of Grey Eagle; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and sisters, Rita and Henrietta. Redi was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
