Big Spunk rest area on eastbound Interstate 94 and Middle Spunk rest area on westbound Interstate 94 near Avon will close to motorists next week.
Crews will upgrade the lift station and sewer at both facilities on Monday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Nov. 1. Motorists on westbound I-94 should plan to use the Fuller Lake rest area in Clearwater or the Burgeon Lake rest area near Alexandria. Motorists on eastbound I-94 should use the Enfield rest area near Monticello or Lake Latoka rest area near Alexandria instead.
