Rick H. Gangl

Rick H. Gangl, age 66 of Grey Eagle, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, September 3, 2021 at his home in Grey Eagle, Minnesota from cancer.
A private family service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Lakeview Cemetery.
Rick Harold Gangl was born November 2, 1954 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Harold and Evelyn (Peterson) Gangl. He served in the U.S. Air Force where Rick spent time in Taiwan. He was united in marriage to Cherie Kutter in 1978 and raised four children. Rick was employed by Qwest Communications. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Rick also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his five grandchildren.
Survivors include his l wife of 43 years, Cherie Gangl of Grey Eagle; daughters, Sarah Gangl (Brad Sullivan) of Brooklyn Park, Sasha Gangl of Grey Eagle, Samantha and Sadie Gangl of Brooklyn Center; and five grandchildren, Addison, Jackson, Lance, Lacey, and Lynell.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bruce Gangl.
Memorials are preferred.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Grey Eagle.
