Robin Dorothy Vincent

Robin Dorothy Vincent (Smith) age 60 of Swanville, Minnesota passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on May 18, 2017 at 11:54 a.m. after a brief battle with cancer.

Robin Dorothy Smith was born May 29, 1956 to George and Dorothy Smith and was the youngest of their five children. She graduated from Johnson High School in St. Paul and went on to study at Lakewood Community College to become a nurse. Robin also worked for Rainbow Foods for many years. Robin married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Gifford Vincent November 9, 1974, and again on July 4th, 2007. Their great journey together eventually landed them in Swanville. Robin was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Robin is preceded in death by her parents George and Dorothy and brother Marshall.

Robin is survived by her husband Gifford, children Christopher (Heather) and Angela (David), grandchildren Jacey, Isaac, Levi, Reece, Roman, Justus, Robyn, RaMya, Silas and Roena, siblings George (Chris) Smith, Eve (Dave) Nachtsheim and Christine Martinek as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Robin’s life was held in her honor on Wednesday, May 24th at the Swanville Bible Church at 1 p.m. and followed by graveside service and luncheon.
