Roger Harry Chuba

Roger Harry Chuba passed away on January 16, 2018 at the age of 84 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born October 29, 1933 and graduated from Upsala High School. On November 26, 1960 he married Mary Jayne Bjorndahl, they were married 57 wonderful years. Roger served two years in the Army, worked construction, owned and operated a chicken barn, and traveled the states doing craft shows. He was also a member of the Upsala Lions Club and a volunteer firefighter.
Roger enjoyed spending time with his family, crafting, trips to Vegas, and the casino. He also loved his time at the cabin going hunting and fishing, watching grandkids play sports, and his drives to the Dairy Queen.
Roger is survived by his wife Mary Jayne; children Rodney (Jackie) Chuba, Mark (Brenda) Chuba, Lynn (Scott) Depa, and Michael (Tracy) Chuba; 9 grandchildren, Ryan (Kristen), Angie (Travis), Jena (Tegan) Andrew (Brianna), Cody, Dylan, Haden, Kennedee, and Delaney; 3 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Adley, and Makenzie; and sister Shirley (Bob) Clear.
Roger is preceded in death by his father and mother Harry Chuba and Gladys Chuba.
A private ceremony will be held for the immediate family. The arrangements are with the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
