Sandra Dee “Sandy” Bushman, age 63 of Grey Eagle passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, after health complications at the CentraCare Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich with Rev. Daniel Walz officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at church in New Munich.
Sandra Dee Proell was born March 15, 1963 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Roger and Linda (Kortum) Proell. She grew up in Sauk Centre and graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1981. After high school, she worked at Kraft Foods in Albany for 26 years. Sandy was united in marriage to Glen Bushman in St. Cloud, Minnesota. After their marriage, they resided and continued to live in the Grey Eagle area.
Sandy was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. She enjoyed the outdoors, art, setting puzzles, playing cards, watching the Vikings, being in the sun, and most of all, her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Glen Bushman of Grey Eagle; sons, Kellin Proell of Becker, Tomie Bushman of Grey Eagle, and Tanner Bushman of Melrose; grandchildren, Aiden Proell, Davina Bushman, Ethan Proell, and Lacey Bushman; sister, Janet (Wayne) Kostreba of Sauk Centre; and sister-in-law, Tammy Proell of Sauk Centre.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Linda Proell; and brother, Tom Proell.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Melrose.
