Sandra “Sandy” Villnow

Sandra “Sandy” Villnow, 68 year old resident of Hillman, MN passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman with Father Gregory Mastey officiating. Burial will take place in the Villnow Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. on Sunday at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Pierz and from 10 to 11A.M. on Monday at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman. Caring for Sandy and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Pierz, MN.
Sandra Lee (Bentz) Villnow was born on June 3, 1957, to the late Walter and Ruth (Bramson) Bentz. Sandy was united in marriage to Harold Villnow on December 8, 1973. Sandy farmed alongside her husband Harold, along with selling truck parts for Volvo and Mack. They raised three sons, Christopher, Shawn, and Nate. Over the years, she spent as much time as she could with her beloved grandchildren, whom she loved more than life itself. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and cake decorating. Sandy loved spending time with her family deer hunting, fishing and camping.
Sandy is survived by her sons, Shawn Villnow (Katie Talberg) of Pierz MN, Nate and Sylvia (Storkamp) Villnow of Burtrum, MN; her grandsons Colton, Justin, Drew, Reed, and Jace Villnow; granddaughters, Mckenna and Maysa O’Brien; daughter-in-law, Joan (Hunter) Villnow of Redwing MN; and many relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruth Bentz; husband, Harold Villnow; and son, Christopher Villnow.
