ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 10 north of Sartell will encounter lane closures and delays as segments of the road are reduced to a single lane beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The closures will occur on both directions of Highway 10 between County Road 33/First Ave NE/60th Street W, north of Sartell, and County Road 40/Halfway Crossing, north of Rice. The closures will be complete by early-November.
Motorists should plan additional time for travel, especially during peak travel periods, and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic as they navigate the daily work zones.
The closures are needed as crews resurface 10 miles of roadway on both directions of Highway 10.
When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride and ensure Highway 10 continues to serve local and regional motorists for many years. Highway 10 is an important freight and tourism route, supporting the state’s metro and rural economies.
