Sharon Elizabeth Quistorff, age 54 of Sauk Centre, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at her home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Greg Paffel officiating. Interment will be at Silver Creek Cemetery in West Union Township.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Sharon E. Middendorf was born December 16, 1969 in Melrose, Minnesota to Gerald “Jerry” and Diane (Stoermann) Middendorf. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1988. On April 14, 1989, she married Jeff Quistorff at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Melrose. Sharon worked at the Pride of Mainstreet Dairy from 1988 to 2015 and worked her way to plant manager before they closed their doors. She then was employed at H&R Block. Sharon was currently working at Holy Family School as cafeteria supervisor where she loved all the children and enjoyed telling them jokes and praying with them.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church where she as an active member with the Christian Mothers, Adoration, Eucharistic Minister, and marriage sponsor couple. She enjoyed the task as curriculum coordinator for the religious education program and treasurer for the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 67. Sharon looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and family, playing board and card games, especially Carbles, baking, cooking, doing puzzles, and going out for supper with the Auxiliary gals.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Jeff Quistorff; daughters, Megan (Lance) VanHavermaet and Amber (Mitch) VanHavermaet; grandchildren, Marie, Henry, Ali, Easton, Clayton, Mallory, and Lindy; parents, Jerry and Diane Middendorf; brothers and sisters, Kevin (Laurie) Middendorf, Jamie (Kristie) Middendorf, Kris (Shanna) Middendorf, Eric (Marcie) Middendorf, and Aaron (Sarah) Middendorf; in-laws, Roger Quistorff (Karole Sorenson), Mike (Dora) Quistorff, Andy (Connie) Quistorff, and Jack Quistorff (Christy Rutten); sister-in-law, Laurie Quistorff; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Arnold (Lois) Quistorff; brother-in-law, Wayne Quistorff; and sister-in-law, Glenda Quistorff.
