St. Cloud – The largest home building show in Central Minnesota will be held at the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center. Hundreds of home and garden displays, daily home improvement seminars on the Simonson Lumber Stage in Seminar City and the Forever House including the newest building products and materials, landscaping and home decorating. The HomeShow March 9-11, 2018 runs Friday noon to 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 7 pm and Sunday the show opens at 10 am, closing out the weekend at 4 pm.
The Forever House designed by Dovetail Kitchen Designs and ADS Designs and built inside the River’s Edge Convention Center will be showcased at the Central Minnesota Builders Association HomeShow event. The combined effort of over 30 professionals built this “Dream Big” display. Four fully furnished rooms in the newest styles and colors and an outdoor living area fill 6000 square feet. Imagine a Boat House, a decked out summer fun room with a plan to keep summer alive throughout the year and a landscaped backyard alive with plants and flowers, an outdoor kitchen and water features. This 2018 house even has a driveway. Don’t miss the Forever House Backyard Plant Sale at 3 pm Sunday.
Seminar City is jam-packed with three days of how to seminars from irrigation to décor, and home technology to window installation. Buyer and seller sessions give advice about staging to reverse mortgage. The popular ‘Kids Build’ on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm provide step up stool kits for kiddos. Kids age 5-10 learn to build with their own hands. They take home the stool along with a t-shirt in case they bust their buttons with pride. On Sunday at noon and 2 pm, another of the most popular guests, Grow with KARE – KARE11’s Bobby Jensen will bring Dr. Ken Norberg to present Two Old Guys Talking Gardening. Be entertained and educated all in one.
