On Friday August 17, 2024, at approximately 10:30 AM, deputies from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a crash with possible injuries near the intersection of County Road 13 and 320 Street in Lake George Township.
When deputies arrived, they saw a sport utility vehicle in the west side ditch of County Road 13. The driver, still in the vehicle, was being treated by Elrosa Fire and Rescue. When examining the vehicle, deputies did not notice any obvious damage from the crash. Deputies later followed up with the driver, Cesar Hernandez Orozco, 27, from Melrose, at the Sauk Centre Hospital. Cesar told deputies he was driving southbound on Co Rd 13 when he started to feel light-headed and somewhat dizzy before running off the roadway. He had a hard time remembering any other details of the event other than what deputies learned. Cesar did not suffer any major injuries. Deputies believe Cesar suffered from a medical event and did not suspect alcohol to be a factor. Assisting on scene was Elrosa Fire and Rescue and Sauk Centre Ambulance.
