On January 1, 2019 at approximately 1:47 p.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call of a house fire at 36265 County Road 26 in Raymond Township. The caller stated flames were traveling up the wall and they were not able to put out the fire.
Stearns County Sheriff deputies, Sauk Centre Fire Department and Sauk Centre Ambulance were dispatched.
The home is owned by Robert Edgar Dean, 58, and Ann Marie Dean, 54, both of Sauk Centre. Robert was home alone at the time of the fire and it is believed the fire was caused by an electrical issue. The house was severely damaged.
Villard Fire and Rescue also assisted at the scene.
