On Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at approximately 10:33 a.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a loose cow about 5 miles north of the City of Brooten. The cow had an ear tag but deputies are unable to identify the owner at this time.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office would ask any cattle owners to check to see if they are missing any of their cows. The cow was possibly spotted roaming near the Sauk Centre area within the last week and may have travelled a significant distance.
Contact the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office at 320-251-4240 to claim ownership of the cow. The cow will have to be accurately described and the proper ear tag number provided to claim ownership.
