Driver fails to stop at stop sign and sustains minor injuries.
On May 3rd, 2020 at 7:13 a.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one vehicle accident with injuries near the intersection of County Road 3 and County Road 17 in Holding Township.
Eddie Dillon, 71, of St. Cloud, was driving a brown 1998 GMC Jimmy southbound on County Road 3 approaching County Road 17. Mr. Dillon failed to stop for the stop sign at the T-intersection and went into a field.
Mayo Ambulance transported Mr. Dillon to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Impairment does not appear to be factor in the crash.
