Southwestern Stearns County was impacted by severe weather during the early morning hours. The cities of Brooten and Belgrade and the surrounding townships appear to have moderate storm damage. Damage assessments are currently taking place. Sheriff Soyka has been in contact with other authorities in this area.
We ask the public to be aware of hazards and workers in this area as damage assessments and cleanup are ongoing.
