Steven Landowski

Steven Landowski, 60 year old resident of Swanville, MN, formerly of Burtrum, MN, died Wednesday, December 9 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by his loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, December 12 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Elmdale, MN with Father John Odero officiating. The burial was held in the parish cemetery.
Steven Landowski was born April 26, 1955 in St. Cloud, MN to John and Arlene (Klein) Landowski. He attended school in Albany, MN. He worked various jobs after high school. Steve was united in marriage to Doris Wensmann on August 2, 1974 in St. Cloud, MN. The couple made their home in Browerville, MN where Steven and Doris farmed for fifteen years. The couple later moved to Plentywood, MT where Steve worked for M & T Repair as a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling with Doris, singing, karaoke and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Steven is survived by children, Chad Landowski (Tanya) of Burtrum, MN, Shannon Landowski of Long Prairie, MN, Joshua Landowski (Carisa) of Swanville, MN, Sherry Ramsey (Mark) of Sobieski, MN, Eric Landowski (Jamie) of Swanville, MN, Danielle Landowski of Long Prairie, MN; mother, Arlene (Klein) Landowski of Albany, MN; father-in-law, Donald Wensmann of St. Cloud, MN; siblings, Peg Mager of Sauk Rapids, MN, Tim Landowski (Ann) of Foreston, MN, Tammy Marstein (Vince) of Albany, MN, Coleen Landowski of St. Anthony, MN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Wensmann (Debbie) of Bowlus, MN, Joy Wensmann of Becker, MN, Diane Roske (Kenneth) of Burtrum, MN, Cindy Yandell (Don) of St. Cloud, MN, Greg Wensmann (Renee) of Bowlus, MN, Marvin Wensmann (Shirley) of Burtrum, MN, Jim Wensmann (Julie) of Bowlus, MN, Brenda Yorek (Kenneth) of Bowlus, MN, Brian Wensmann (Lisa) of Bowlus, MN, Joel Wensmann (Laura) of Sartell, MN, Sandra Herdering (Tom) of St. Rosa, MN, Wanda Ratbum (Barry) of Waite Park, MN, Jessica Ryder (Gary) of Foley, MN, Scott Wensmann (Jen) of Bowlus, MN; 19 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Landowski; wife, Doris Landowski; son, Jason Landowski; granddaughter, Brooke Landowski; mother-in-law, Rita Wensmann; brothers-in-law, Wayne Wensmann, Mark Wensmann, Joseph Wensmann and a cousin, Jim Koehn. The honorary casket bearers were the grandchildren of Steven Landowski.
The casket bearers were his children: Chad, Shannon, Joshua, Sherry, Eric and Danielle.
