Susan Luella (Loecken) Isaacson died unexpectedly on November 18, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota at the age of 74. Sue attended High School at Melrose High School graduating in the Spring of 1969. She married Jerome Johnson in September 1970 and they had two sons, Zachary and Nathan. They divorced and she married Gerald Issacson in 1988. Gerald passed away November 26, 2021.
Susan enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her late husband, Gerry Isaacson’s family property in Northern Minnesota. Sue worked various jobs over the years with the latest at JCPenney in Coon Rapids where she made new friends and acquaintances. Sue faced life with resilience, offering support and encouragement to those around her. She will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Zachary (Mitch) of Forest Lake; Nathan (Cassandra) of Blaine and Granddaughter, Gemma Lu. Brothers; Jerry (JoAnn) Loecken of Chaska, Ron Loecken of Forest Lake, Jim (Mary) Loecken of Melrose, Chuck (Angie) Loecken of St. Joseph. Sisters; Shirley (John) Adrian of Albany and Janet “Nettie” Spaeth of Melrose and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents, Alphonse and Lucille (Hinnenkamp) Loecken, Sister; Rosie (Loecken) Breth and husband, Richard Breth. Sister-in-law Nancy (Nelson) Loecken; brother-in-law Paul Spaeth.
