On April 27, 2012, there was a spaghetti dinner and silent auction benefit held for Scott Luing at the Little Falls Ballroom. Scott has been battling cancerous Lymphoma. A spaghetti dinner fund-raiser was held on May 5, 2012 at the American Legion in Long Prairie for Benjamin Poegel, son of Joe Poegel and Carol Kenyon of Swanville.
