Terence G. Hubbard

Terence G. Hubbard, age 80 of Todd County, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Valley View Estates Hospice in Long Prairie, Minnesota.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Private interment will be held in Moses Dane Cemetery near Burtrum, Minnesota. Visitation will be held at the funeral home thirty minutes prior to the service.
Terence George Hubbard was born March 28, 1934 in London, England to Thomas and May (Finch) Hubbard. He served in the Royal Air Force in Cyprus during the Suez Crisis. Terry was married to his wife Marion on March 28, 1959 in London, England. Soon after, they immigrated to Minnesota where they built careers, homes, and a life together. Terry worked as a Chemical Process Piping Engineer for 3M Company and retired in 1997.
Terry enjoyed the natural beauty Minnesota has to offer, including fishing, bird watching, landscape gardening, cross-country skiing, and talking baseball with his grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Marion; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Jeanne; grandson, Nicholas; sisters, Betts Steenerson and Maureen (Colin) Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom and Edward; sisters, Evelyn Hubbard and Joyce (Alex) Burns.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
