Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen reports the items listed below were recovered in Dakota County this afternoon. A suspect was arrested by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and is being held pending formal charges in their county.
Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen reports that on 2-3-2016 in the morning hours, the Sheriff’s Office received a theft report from Hilmerson Sports Center, south of Little Falls on Highway 10 in Little Falls Township. At approximately 5:35 am, the suspect damaged the east gate of the business to gain entry into the parking lot. The suspect left the business at approximately 6:37 am and the tracks indicate that the vehicle went eastbound on Iris Road. A trailer, snowmobile and a 4 wheeler were stolen from the business.
The trailer brand name is “Floe” and it is a 20’-22’ aluminum trailer. It has a 12” black homemade salt shield on the front as well as a black 2’x3’ toolbox on the front. The snowmobile is a 2014 Ski-doo SM Freeride 800 E-tech, bearing VIN number 2BPSVAED4E000003. The snowmobile is grey, white, and lime green in color. A 2016 Can-Am Outlander 500 Max XT ATV 4-wheeler was also stolen. The VIN number is 3JBLPAV24GJ000278, pearl white in color.
Video surveillance indicates that the suspect vehicle is a white Chevy Crew Cab truck. The truck has a black tonneau cover, chrome rails on the truck box, black window deflectors on the driver and passenger side front windows, possible chrome rocker panels along the bottom of the vehicle and a black bug shield on the hood.

A cash reward is being offered for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
