On Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2013 at approximately 3:47 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a domestic incident at 20184 281st Ave., in Round Prairie Twp., approximately 6 miles Southeast of Long Prairie.
Responding Todd County Personnel discovered that Nancy Elaine Williams (58 YOA) was deceased. She appeared to have suffered blunt force trauma. Her ex-husband, Craig Lamont Williams (46 YOA) of Long Prairie, was taken into custody at the scene. He is being held at the Todd County Detention Center awaiting formal charges.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating the incident.
