ST CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists who travel westbound Interstate 94 through Avon may encounter heavy equipment and occasional slow traffic while crews remove trees from right of way north of the roadway. The tree clearing will take up to five days to complete.
The work is the first part of a project that will construct a 3,400 foot long noise barrier within State right-of-way. Construction on the noise barrier will begin in spring.
Motorists on I-94 in Avon should watch for slow moving traffic, and be prepared to stop if necessary.
